Person in the First

On Wednesday evening, I’m going to be one of four artists at a salon* in Center City Philadelphia. The gathering is hosted by an organization called First Person Arts—they are dedicated to telling stories (through film, poetry, prose, painting, photography, and any other form you can think of) provided they’re being told in the first person. It’s very clever, and I’m honored to be a part of the evening. Stop by if you’re in the tri-state area! Details below and here’s the rest of the line-up.

*This is “a fashionable assemblage of artists” not “a place where you get your hair done” =) I provided this definition because I didn’t always know what a salon was.

We’re really looking forward to having you! And thanks for the clarification on the what the Salon is. We sometimes forget that not everyone is steeped in 18th Century artistic traditions and their modern equivalents! See you soon…
