And $.44 stamps is still very cost effective for the joy of getting a real letter vs. an email. This time last year when the price increased (by only one cent) I was barely into a 100-stamp roll (poor planning on my part). I had to buy a plethora of one-cent stamps. I still have some one-centers left over, which will get me through this next increase. Lucky for me, this time, I only have a book of stamps I have to finish rather than a whole roll. I might even make the trip to USPO to stock up on Liberty stamps before the week is over. Christina, that’s a good point.
