I am one who believes that the universe plants someone in your mind at roughly around the same time it plants you in that person’s mind. There are many times when I’ll think of someone out of the blue or something will remind me of someone, and I’ll get an e-mail or phone call from that person the same day.

This happens with my former boss and friend Zazel often. We are cosmically connected. I called her once and she answered the phone with, “I was just e-mailing you.” Today we took that to a new level. We haven’t spoken in a while . . . my phone began buzzing at 3:59 pm. It was Zazel. I answered, “Hello. Hello. Did you call me?”

“No I didn’t, but I’m happy to hear from you.”

The universe decided we were overdue and made arrangements for us to speak. It was pretty sweet.
