Thoughts on Infiedlity

For the first time in forever, I have written a blog for The Huffington Post. Although I did double-blog my apology letter from Alice Hoffman (posted it here and there), I haven’t written an orginal piece for HuffPo at all this year. It’s not that I didn’t think of it, I guess just I got caught up in blogging here! Anyway, my latest piece is on infidelity. It’s a reactionary piece really to an article I read in Time magazine over the weekend. The writer of the article suggests that infidelity is bringing down marriage in this country down. I argue that infidelity has always and will always exist. Not that that makes it right, but it also means that it’s not a trend and it won’t necessarily ruin our way of life.

If you have comments, please leave them on the HuffPo page—unless you really think they’re better suited for this blog. I’ll warn you that commenters at HuffPo usually aren’t as nice to me as you guys are. So let’s put on our thick skins and go over.
