My first comment got cut off. But I guess you got the gist of what I was saying with “pique”. I had copied and pasted the definition from m-w.com.

But who am I to correct a published author??? LOL

Thank you I will definitely check out Ever Yours, I’m always interested in books on letter writing-and the deckle edged pages is a nice touch.

I will resend that Christmas card that got returned last year, it’ll save me some time, you know… reduce, reuse, recycle! NOT! I will add something new for this year!

There are four rounds of editing (at least) before an author becomes a “published” author, and this is the very reason why. So you have every right to correct me Rodney. I’m not going to fix the mistake, however, because then this comment strand won’t make any sense

I read a lot. Last year I picked up a couple of books from that same NYT list and wasn’t disappointed. This year it seems that not a single title raises an eyebrow.

Thankfully I have a tremendous queue of classics to occupy my time until I unearth another worthy tome.

“We The Living” by Rand is in progress. I’ve been beating around some Vonnegut.

Etc etc.
