Please stop by my tranquility du jour blog today, especially if you are Masa from Louisiana, Louise from Minnesota, Rodney from Hawaii, Mike from Virginia, or Mitch from Savannah, Georgia. I have gratitude to express!
O Gracious God, we ache for our neighbours in Haiti who have lost even what little they have had. Comfort the child, the woman, the man whose beloved have died in this disaster. Shelter the young and old whose dwelling has been destroyed. Equip the physician, the nurse, the mission worker to be a healer in the midst of confusion and despair. Inspire the solider, the diplomat, the head of state to respond with both compassion and efficiency. And move us in our response to recognize in images and stories the plight of our own brothers and sisters. This we pray in the Name of the One who said, “Come to me, all who are burdened and in trouble, and I will refresh you”, our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen
Don’t forget to visit me at Tranquility Du Jour today. I hope everyone is staying warm!
My mention in the Fort Worth Star Telegram. Writer Alyson Ward picked a unique angle from which to approach journaling—as an escape from too much digital sharing. Alyson, well done and thank you!
I’ve been meaning to tell everyone that our very own Rodney has started a blog. The name is an intrigue: greasemonkeyhands.blogspot.com I’m so proud!
I haven’t had a chance to sift through it as I soon will, but wanted to send everyone on over. Any other New Year’s blogs I should know about?
